Environment Club - Fri 12 Jan 2018

Class 3 and Class 4 students have really enjoyed designing and decorating their own reusable canvas shopping bags, which they will take home to reduce the use of wildlife-harming plastic bags.

The children were shocked to learn that sea turtles often mistake plastic bags for jellyfish and accidentally eat them, so they wanted to do something and came up with the idea of making reusable bags.

Their next project is to raise more awareness of the danger sea creatures are in from plastic rubbish and they are going to make large collages from Quality Street wrappers. If you would like to send some into school to help with our artwork it would be much appreciated! Please label them for Miss Jebb in Class 4.
